by A joint venture (JV) between the Aker solutions of Norway and the PTAs of Brunei has protected a two-year contract extension to provide offshore maintenance and change services to Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP).
The JV, PTAS AKER SOLUTIONS, supplies Offshore Restoration Maintenance Construction (ORMC) Services for BSP.
The expansion reinforces the presence of the JV in the South Chinese Sea, where the maintenance and upgrades of his office in Kuala Belait, Brunei Darussalam will continue to manage.
The contract, which will be registered in the life cycle segment in the second quarter of 2025 as an order intake, is aimed at maintaining production levels in BSP’s offshore assets.
PTAS AKER SOLUTIONS, who serves as the most important contractor, combines local implementing options with the international expertise of Aker Solutions.
The value of the contract falls within the reach that Aker Solutions classifies as significantly, between NKR1.5BN ($ 148.8 million) and NKR2.5BN.
